Autumn Yoga Retreat

Return to the basics with a grounding day of yoga and meditation with Laura at Riverdell Spiritual Centre, Gawler.

On Sunday 29 March, join Laura and a small group of like-minded people for a day centred on the foundations of yoga, simple practices, nourishing food and connection.

Your Autumn Yoga Retreat is about slowing down and strengthening the fundamental building blocks of a sustainable yoga practice. Rather than doing more, we will focus on less. Clear movement, steady breath and time to reconnect with what supports you.

The day will begin with a slow and steady flowing vinyasa class, with plenty of options for modifications and the opportunity to workshop poses, making this retreat ideal if you are newer to yoga or want to revisit the foundations of your practice. We will then enjoy a relaxed lunch of nourishing seasonal food.

After lunch, there will be time to reflect and explore pranayama (yoga breathwork), with one or two simple practices you can take home.

The day will close with a restorative yin yoga class and guided meditation, followed by afternoon tea, leaving you feeling grounded, steady and supported as the season turns inward.

This retreat will leave you feeling more confident in the foundations of your yoga practice. You will feel steady, supported and more confident in how to move, breathe and practise in a way that suits you.

You will take home simple tools you can return to again and again, helping you build a yoga practice that feels sustainable, nourishing and realistic for your life.

About Me

Hey, I’m Laura your retreat facilitator. In 2024 I expanded my offerings to include a quarterly, one day seasonal yoga retreat.

Honestly, I created these one day retreats because this was something I was yearning for, a whole day to let everyday life to one side and immerse myself in yoga, meditation and community. I didn’t have the time or funds for a full weekend retreat, let alone a destination retreat and decided I would fill this gap myself with a simple one day yoga retreat each season at different retreat venues in and around Adelaide.

I teach breath focussed yoga, which gives busy minds and bodies not only the opportunity for a much needed exhale, to release built up stress and tension, but also a much needed inhale, to replenish.

Each retreat will have a base of vinyasa in the morning, a delicious lunch followed by a nature walk and yin yoga in the afternoon. On top of that retreats feature a deep dive or introduction to another aspect of yoga, nutrition workshop or open time to for participants to reflect.

My one day yoga retreats cater to beginners and seasoned yogis. Mostly they are for busy people (like me) who love yoga.
